8th APCESS 2017 - Global Strong Bond for a Greater Higher Order
Dr. Bala, our Cougars President, was greatly involved in the 8th Asia Pacific Conference on Exercise and Sports Science (APCESS) 2017 held in Thailand as the General Honorary Secretary of the Asian Council of Exercise and Sports Science (ACESS). This conference focused on sports performance, opportunities for physical activity, risk-reduction and biomechanics; interactive technology; the shrinking demarcation of divisible role and responsibility between corporate and not-for-profit entities; environmental, behavior engagement, hospitalization, and age-related considerations on health and quality of life; muscle degeneration and cardiovascular and metabolic disease implications; sport and athlete training and therapies.

Dr. Bala, our Cougars President & General Honorary Secretary of Asian Council of Exercise and Sports Science (ACESS), with Dr. Stephen Kopecky and his wife. Dr. Kopecky is a professor of Medicine and Attending Physician, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He was previously the Co-Director of the Coronary Care Unit of the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic and the Medical Director for the Mayo Alliance for Clinical Trials.
